Ultimate Doom Builder
- Make a new Map (File/new) set to skulltag Doom in Hexen format and add “Doom 2.wad” to your source file
- Start off by (shortcut Ctrl+D to draw) drawing two 128*128 sectors side by side with a space in-between
- connect the two sectors with a 64*64 sector selects this sector
- Select the lines that will connect the sectors and make sure they are facing out of the sector you have tagged and apply a Door Texture to the Front Upper side of the line
- apply an new Tag to the sector
- Apply an “door open” (ID 11) action to the connecting lines (shown in Point 4) set the “Sector Tag” to the same as you’re 64*64 Sector(shown bellow)
- set the movement speed to whatever you want the higher the number the faster the door animation, Change the Trigger for the door to “Player presses use” and apply the repeatable action tag and Lower the Ceiling Height of the tagged door sector so that it is same as the floor height (shown bellow)
- Go into 3d mode (default key W) and check that it looks the way you want then (make sure to place a player start in the map) check in game to make sure it works
